Product Management Skills

Product management involves making decisions from material that rarely arrives complete. A feature request may already assume the solution, while research notes leave conflicting needs unresolved. Using AI to turn that material into a polished document can leave the important questions unanswered.
I built eight Agent Skills to give those tasks a repeatable approach. Each guides the agent through a particular kind of product work, including what to examine, which assumptions to question, and what the available evidence can support.
They help me make my reasoning explicit: what problem a proposal addresses, why one approach makes sense, and what still needs checking. Keeping those instructions reusable means I can bring the same discipline to another question without explaining the whole approach again.
Where I use them
Understanding a request: clarify the underlying problem and examine strategic choices before committing to a feature.
Preparing work for a team: define ownership, states, permissions, user flows, and acceptance criteria.
Working through evidence: synthesise research without losing contradictions or treating assumptions as findings.
Reviewing and delivering: challenge a proposal, identify dependencies, and plan validation, rollout, and recovery.
The repository contains all eight skills, illustrative examples, and installation instructions. Each skill can be used independently and adapted.
